Franconia Rosè Metodo Classico


Franconia is an Austrian variety or more likely a Slovenian variety. It is also known under the German name of Limbergher. Is grown in Austria and in all the wine areas of the former Austro-Hungaric Empire; in Italy is cultivated in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The grapes are manually picked in 20 kg crates and immediatelly soft pressed. The must is chilled for one night. The first fermentation is carried in stainless steel tank, than the tirage is performed and the period of ageing sur lattes lasts 36 months.
Bright and delicate pink colour, the perlage is fine and persistent.
