The project began with a simple, powerful question: who truly knows the land? The answer became the heart of our philosophy: the inhabitants of the Podere.
The inhabitants of the Podere: art inspired by nature
Our bottles tell the story of a real coexistence: people, vineyards and wildlife.
Each animal depicted is a neighbour, living among the woods, high vineyards and springs around the estate. That is where the idea of letting them tell the story of our wines began.
The artworks are by Martina Paletti, who shaped every detail with an intense, evocative line that brings together elegance and expressive strength.
The Deer represents Franconia ‘Vigne Alte’. Noble and quiet, accustomed to observing from the heights, it embodies the balance between structure and finesse. Against its dark background, the illustration evokes the shade of the forest floor and the depth of brown earth.
Here, art becomes a first taste of the wine: the animal's posture already suggests its poise and refinement.
For Foresto Riserva 2020 Valcalepio, only the Bear could be the symbol. Quiet power, roots, patience. An ancient figure that perfectly embodies the idea of Riserva: time, waiting, maturation.
The deep, intense label tells of a structured wine and a history of seasons, silences and returns.
